I am a mother of a middle school and high school child, a visual artist, freelance writer and create art in a variety of methods and studied with many teachers.

I continue to take master art classes especially while I am teaching so I can experience artistic growth and gather knowledge to share with my own students.

My personal journey as an artist is always changing and evolving and to me - that's part of the fun.

I am a second term member of the Arlington Cultural Council under the Massachusetts Cultural Council a grant recipient of a 2006 and 2007 Massachusetts Cultural Council Grant, and a proud Winner of a 2006 Gold Star award for my Arlington Art Hunt

I am a Member of the Arlington Center for the Arts, National Art Educators Association Arlington Youth and Health Safety Coalition and the Massachusetts Art Educators Association.


As an art educator, I have taught in the Arlington Public School system, Lexington Montessori and Arlington Adult Education.

For nine years, have volunteered at The Children's Room; center for grieving children and teenagers as a grief counselor, where I help children use art as a tool to aid in expression and healing.

It is my  privilege to offer children a solid foundation in art education and the experience to help them realize that art can be a powerful tool for expression and healing throughout their lives.
